| Outstanding Shoe! One of the very best light hiking shoes I've EVER purchased! Built like a tank and will take a beating time and time again. I might also add, it is a very stylish shoe to wear on the trail and off.... | |||

| Hiking guy These are a really sturdy pair of low cut hikers. I PT hike carrying weight 10 to 12 miles per week, on and off trail. These shoes have held up very well. The sole is solid and provides good support and traction (I used my own insole-arch support). When these wear out I will be buying another pair. This is the first pair of Zamberlan shoes I've owned and the workmanship is great. | |||

| Excellent product, excellent value! I have Zamberlan backpacking boots but wanted something lighter for short hikes with a light pack. These were great. I use them for day hikes where I am not on a lot of scree or scrambling a lot of rock. I use orthotic inserts and they fit well. | |||

| Great shoe! I have size 13 VERY FLAT feet, so naturally have an overpronation problem. The 144 Crest XCR pair adapted to my feet within 15 minutes, and now after about 60 miles in them I still find them very comfortable for long trail hikes, and the heel counters provide enough support to hold up against my pronating. The footbed has enough support to keep my feet feeling springy, even after 10 miles or so on-trail. Like the heftiness of the sole, and has just enough ankle support for trail use. Great shoe. | |||

| A great day hiker. The sole has the stiffness of a boot with the cushion of a runner. Took a little while to get used to the feel. The heel is a little wide, but that is easily remedied with some custom lacing ( http://www.backpacker.com/gear/footwear/article/1,5324,5245__1_8,00.html ). One of the laces came frayed, but Zamberlan shipped replacements from Italy (Thanks!). | |||

| Good all round shoe. I wear this shoe for both hiking, biking, and general use when I need something with more support.. Despite a heavy look, I found that the minor additional weight was neglible when on my feet but the support and protection well worth it. A well built product. | |||
