Very Comfortable- I wear the Montereys on my travels all over the country. They are comfortable and wear well through the abuse of plane rides, trekking through airports, hauling luggage, and unpredictable weather. And then I wear them on the weekends! Love the style and comfort.

Good Shoe! - I walk about 3 miles to work and back a few days a week over pavement and stone. I wore the Napo GT Plus about two years until they started to break down. They were excellent. Great support and weather protection and they breathed well. Since they were temporarily out of stock, I tried the Monterey XCR Mid. The mock toe construction definitely fits differently. Not as roomy for my feet. And the mid height is comparatively stiffer. They still haven't broken in after two months. They are a bit dressier and still give good support as I've come to expect with Zamberlan products. The rainy season hasn't really started so I'll reserve judgement on that aspect for now.
