| The 4040 EXPERT GT mountaineering boot also doubles as heavyweight backpacking boot designed for carrying heavy packs on rugged and extreme terrain. Handcrafted from Hydrobloc treated, premium water-resistant Perwanger leather with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® liner, this boot will keep your feet dry and comfortable in the most worst conditions. The full-wrap rubber rand also protects against sharp rocks, branches or exposed roots. Careful lasting, sculptured padding and the F.W.S. (full wrap system) construction of the Upper will keep your feet snug and provide a secure and comfortable fit. The crampon compatible VIBRAM® Vertige sole and Carbon Flex midsole makes the boot stiff and stable ensuring excellent traction in uneven and rocky terrain. |
