| Amazing Boots - Some of the finest footwear I've ever encountered. They need some work in time but once you do they feel perfect. I've worn these boots in every weather type this country has to offer. Swamps, snow, mud, deep cold, high heat.Even a year later with a lot of miles on them every time I put them on they still feel amazing on my feet. | |||

| Awesome Boots! - The quality of the boot is second to none. They were very comfortable out of the box.I got them a half a size larger than what I normally wear.Wore them to work for two weeks and then hiked Mt. Katahdin for three days.I had no blisters or hot spots, extremely comfortable, and dry.I have been on three other hikes and have had no problems.Awesome boots | |||

| Well Done Zamberlan - After taking the time to break in my new boots, I went hiking in the Grampians National Park. Very comfortable and great to walk in, this is my second pair of Zamberlans- after wearing out the soles of my last pair.(I still have them and will get them resoled). The Voiz GT have handled the rocky terrain of the Grampians with ease and would recommend them to anyone undertaking day hikes. | |||

| Great boot. - Best hiking boots I've owned in 30 years. We just got back from 8 days on the West Highland Way in Scotland, including a trip up Ben Nevis - feet stayed dry through rain, dew, mud, fog and bog. Mostly used with the Kokanee gaiters - a great combination. Boots were stable on rock and scree, and traction felt good in all kinds of conditions. Extra height also felt good for my old tired ankles. Can't think of anything negative to say. | |||

| A quality boot. - For me, stepping out of a pair of Limmer mountain boots and into these was very nice. I've been wearing them exclusively for the past few days and no complaints whatsoever. If this is your first pair of backpacking boots, it may take a week to get fully used to these boots, but once you get used to them you will really be wishing you had bought this boot earlier. This is my first pair of Zamberlans and I must say the fit is perfect for my foot. I have an ordinary foot, and the size and width of these boots match the size and width of my street shoes. Also, there is nothing inside the boot that will irritate your foot. The boot has a good solid heel and I didn't have to lace the boots up as tight as possible to get them to keep my heel stationary. This is a quality boot and will last quite a long time. | |||

| Perfect Boot- Really like this boot, They did a great job on Mount Temple, Good on ice, great fit, lite, very water proof, have heard that the soles are not all that durable but for the ultra comfort of the boot it is worth it. Best boot i have owned in 20 years. | |||

| I'm buying a spare pair as backups.-After trying on every other boot and not finding anything that felt right, these fit perfect. I broke them in on a 21km route to the summit of Fortress. In the first couple kilometers I felt the usual breaking in discomfort but for the rest of the hike they felt better than my old boots ever did. I'll be buying a second pair for that day when these wear out. | |||

| Quality- Used these boots for a month long trip carrying 60+ lbs in the mountains of the Yukon, and I never once regretted it. Not a single blister the entire time, and they held me steady on scree, steep hills and in rivers. And, other than the normal character-creating scratches and mars that mark their surface, the boots are still going extremely strong. No problems with durability at all. All in all, an ideal boot for my foot. | |||

| Wonderful- Feels true to size, Feels true to width Pros: Durable, Non-slip sole, Comfortable, Great Traction, Water Resistant Best Uses: Wet Weather, Day hikes, Backcountry, Everyday Just read the other reviews...an amazing boot! Wade through puddles and mud without worry, these WILL keep your feet dry (gaiters are a good addition if your puddles and mud will reach your ankles). The Vibram soles may just be bulletproof, though I haven't tested that aspect personally, while providing exceptional traction. Keep them clean and they will stay with you for ages. Definitely invest in a good liner/sock combination to keep your feet even more comfy! |

| A Star on the West Coast Trail- Had concerns about my feet so I splurged and bought another pair of boots for the West Coast Trail. They performed very well. They were extremely comfortable and required minimal break-in. They are designed specifically for backpacking. Supportive for carrying 50lb pack for 7 days and grippy in slippery and muddy conditions. Quite waterproof in stream crossings when combined with good snug gaiters. Had to abuse them by walking in salt water, wearing them wet for days on end, drying them by the fire and walking through sick mud for days. With some TLC they now look almost new again. After owning a pair of Hanwags, I was nervous about trying another brand, but these are my second pair of Zamberlan's and their quality has impressed me very much - combine that with MEC's service and I'll continue to buy Zamberlan...But hopefully not for another 10 years or so. Downside: This second pair of Zam's came with too short insoles for my size 10's, but MEC is sending replacements. A rubber toe rand would have been really useful feature on a pair of serious hiking boots like these - The leather wouldn't get as scuffed and cut up in the toe area. Would not use for aggressive scarmbling (kicking steps in steep, hardpack snow or skiing down scree slopes). | |||

| Amazing Boots-Bought these in February for a backpacking trip in Algonquin in late April. These boots were amazing. I was completely submerged in water at times under a torrential rain storm and my feet were still dry as a bone. And the support and traction was amazing. I couldn't believe the declines I was going down without slipping, especially in the rain/ice/mud. Zamberlan rules. Definiately worth every dime. | |||

| I'd Never Buy a Different Boot-I have always had problems getting the right footwear for any activity. Going on the Inca Trail in Peru I was worried about getting a good hiking boot. This boot was awesome. I wore it all day, everyday...hiking (for hours) on the Trail, in the city and in Jungle. The comfort and performance have made me a die hard endorser/supporter. Worth every penny i paid. | |||

| Boots are Brillant! -I recently was researching online to replace my Pivetta mountain boots that I had purchased back in the early 70's which at the time were expensive but a worthy investment owing to their durability. Having hiked many miles with these boots, the last time I ascended the trail to Half Dome I lost 4 toenails on the descent as my Pivettas were beginning to get bit small after all these years. When I accidently stumbled onto the Zamberlan brand I could see the similarity of my old Pivetta boot and whats more they were Italian and not made of some cheap products out of China with with some trendy fashionable name. When I tracked down Zamberlan, they went out of their way to accomodate me. The day the boots arrived I was more impressed than what I read and saw at their online store. These boots fit me perfect and they feel like riding on a cushion of supportive air all the while confidently handling very rugged terrain. If you really want a serious boot then Zamberlan are obviously the experts in their field. The boots are definitely made for walking and that's just what I'll do! Benissimo! | |||

| So far, excellent -These are excellent boots. I bought my pair in the late summer and used them for all kinds of day hikes and shoulder season trips throughout the autumn. Now I'm using them for some snowshoeing and just walking around on Grouse while the kids get skiing lessons. I am impressed by the fit (which is why I bought this very trendy, high tech looking boots, rather than the other Zamberlan boots: these just fit me better). The roll is good too, they are supportive where it counts, and they are reasonably light. So far, they are amongst the best boots I've owned. And I've been hiking for 30 years. | |||

| Lamborghini of the feet - Beautiful comfortable fit from day one. Breathing lining of boot ... scientifically strange with leather exterior. Sleek look, this ain't no chunky bumper car. Leather needs to be cleaned and waxed regularly, as a labour of love. Practical, beautiful, comfortable. Enjoy the ride. | |||

| Very good boot! - for my foot anyway - So far after a week, these boots are turning out to be a good decision. I was looking to replace a pair of ten year old OneSport Moraines which fit my foot like a glove. The Asolo 520 and Glacier were runners up to these Zamberlans. The 520s ended up being just a bit too skinny in the midfoot for me, and the Glaciers a bit too stiff for my needs. The Zamberlans have a perfect amount of toe and midfoot room for my feet (D width, nothing abnormal). There doesn't appear to be much break-in required - they are really comfy out of the box. My only minor complaint is that the laces are kind of slick so they come untied pretty easily. I tried some other Zamberlans but none of them were stiff enough or fit quite as well as these. | |||

| An Italian work of Art! - I bought the Zamberlan Vioz GTs not only because the Zamberlan family have been making "hiking" boots for over 75 years in NE Italy. Not only because they have a reputation for using only the finest natural and man made materials to make a boot that is comfortable right out of the box, fits like a hiking boot should, (tight heel-good arch, roomy toe box),built to last longer than most brands , has many features that offer (the hiker) benefits they will appreciate from start to finish ,and after having 3 other Zamberlan models ,I knew I couldn't go wrong. Besides all that... they look so classy !!! Hike them to the limit. Or clean them up for a “Night on the Town" I have a size 13 narrow foot. I custom fit all my 38 pair(sic)of boots with many different aftermarket insoles. I don't use the removable ones that come with most "boots." | |||

| Very comfortable! - Very good boot, very comfortable. I'm happy with the support as a medium climbing boot. I've not used it in heavy rocks. I still prefer another thicker boot. One small detail: the Vibram yellow design on the toe - needs to go. It looks stupid. I think I'll just cut it off. | |||

| Great all round boot - I usually buy Montrail boots because I know the product, they require no break-in period, they are very supportive and they give no blisters. I did not know this manufacturer but I am very impressed. The boots are at least as comfortable, if not superior to Montrail and they are very supportive. Great traction on sole, very well wearing and look good. Only negative (and it's a small one) is the yellow ' vibram' legend on the toe of the boot spoils the appearance a little. Otherwise, all good. | |||

| Wow-what a boot! -These boots are AWSOME all leather boot that is comfortable, light weigh, breathable, waterproof (Gore-Tex), good looking, true to size and they are NOT heavy! They are NOT bulky and "blocky" like a lot of outdoor performance waterproof boots. Very attractive to the eye. Absolutely no break in required. I purchase 5 different pair of boots and wore them all for several hours in my home and these by far were the most comfortable. The "runner up" to this boot was the Asolo Power Matic 200 GV. I loved the Asolo's "pulley" lacing system which is the best lacing system I have ever seen. That said when it came to comfort these Zamberlan's felt slightly more comfortable. I love the "3-Action Footbed" which is designed to respect the foot anatomy, reduce heel strike and follow the natural foot movement during walking which is designed to reduce muscle fatigue (from my use so far this system is the best I have ever had). This boot looks black to the eye although Zappos describes it as dark gray. I wanted a black boot so I am very happy with the color. Worth the money! | |||

| Worth the price!- I have had these shoes for about a month now. I have loved them from the first time I put them on. There was no break in period. They are very comfortable and give great support. Even though they are more expensive than some other hikers they are worth the price. | |||
