I'd Never Buy a Different Boot-I have always had problems getting the right footwear for any activity. Going on the Inca Trail in Peru I was worried about getting a good hiking boot. This boot was awesome. I wore it all day, everyday...hiking (for hours) on the Trail, in the city and in Jungle. The comfort and performance have made me a die hard endorser/supporter. Worth every penny i paid.

Boots are Brillant! -I recently was researching online to replace my Pivetta mountain boots that I had purchased back in the early 70's which at the time were expensive but a worthy investment owing to their durability. Having hiked many miles with these boots, the last time I ascended the trail to Half Dome I lost 4 toenails on the descent as my Pivettas were beginning to get bit small after all these years. When I accidently stumbled onto the Zamberlan brand I could see the similarity of my old Pivetta boot and whats more they were Italian and not made of some cheap products out of China with with some trendy fashionable name. When I tracked down Zamberlan, they went out of their way to accomodate me. The day the boots arrived I was more impressed than what I read and saw at their online store. These boots fit me perfect and they feel like riding on a cushion of supportive air all the while confidently handling very rugged terrain. If you really want a serious boot then Zamberlan are obviously the experts in their field. The boots are definitely made for walking and that's just what I'll do! Benissimo!

Couldn't be happier with this boot ! -beautifully crafted, comfortable, relatively light weight, and a really agressive tread pattern that grips like no other. Great work Zamberlan!

So far, excellent -These are excellent boots. I bought my pair in the late summer and used them for all kinds of day hikes and shoulder season trips throughout the autumn. Now I'm using them for some snowshoeing and just walking around on Grouse while the kids get skiing lessons. I am impressed by the fit (which is why I bought this very trendy, high tech looking boots, rather than the other Zamberlan boots: these just fit me better). The roll is good too, they are supportive where it counts, and they are reasonably light. So far, they are amongst the best boots I've owned. And I've been hiking for 30 years.

Lamborghini of the feet - Beautiful comfortable fit from day one. Breathing lining of boot ... scientifically strange with leather exterior. Sleek look, this ain't no chunky bumper car. Leather needs to be cleaned and waxed regularly, as a labour of love. Practical, beautiful, comfortable. Enjoy the ride.

Very good boot! - for my foot anyway - So far after a week, these boots are turning out to be a good decision. I was looking to replace a pair of ten year old OneSport Moraines which fit my foot like a glove. The Asolo 520 and Glacier were runners up to these Zamberlans. The 520s ended up being just a bit too skinny in the midfoot for me, and the Glaciers a bit too stiff for my needs. The Zamberlans have a perfect amount of toe and midfoot room for my feet (D width, nothing abnormal). There doesn't appear to be much break-in required - they are really comfy out of the box. My only minor complaint is that the laces are kind of slick so they come untied pretty easily. I tried some other Zamberlans but none of them were stiff enough or fit quite as well as these.

An Italian work of Art! - I bought the Zamberlan Vioz GTs not only because the Zamberlan family have been making "hiking" boots for over 75 years in NE Italy. Not only because they have a reputation for using only the finest natural and man made materials to make a boot that is comfortable right out of the box, fits like a hiking boot should, (tight heel-good arch, roomy toe box),built to last longer than most brands , has many features that offer (the hiker) benefits they will appreciate from start to finish ,and after having 3 other Zamberlan models ,I knew I couldn't go wrong. Besides all that... they look so classy !!! Hike them to the limit. Or clean them up for a “Night on the Town" I have a size 13 narrow foot. I custom fit all my 38 pair(sic)of boots with many different aftermarket insoles. I don't use the removable ones that come with most "boots."

Very comfortable! - Very good boot, very comfortable. I'm happy with the support as a medium climbing boot. I've not used it in heavy rocks. I still prefer another thicker boot. One small detail: the Vibram yellow design on the toe - needs to go. It looks stupid. I think I'll just cut it off.

Great all round boot - I usually buy Montrail boots because I know the product, they require no break-in period, they are very supportive and they give no blisters. I did not know this manufacturer but I am very impressed. The boots are at least as comfortable, if not superior to Montrail and they are very supportive. Great traction on sole, very well wearing and look good. Only negative (and it's a small one) is the yellow ' vibram' legend on the toe of the boot spoils the appearance a little. Otherwise, all good.

Wow-what a boot! -These boots are AWSOME all leather boot that is comfortable, light weigh, breathable, waterproof (Gore-Tex), good looking, true to size and they are NOT heavy! They are NOT bulky and "blocky" like a lot of outdoor performance waterproof boots. Very attractive to the eye. Absolutely no break in required. I purchase 5 different pair of boots and wore them all for several hours in my home and these by far were the most comfortable. The "runner up" to this boot was the Asolo Power Matic 200 GV. I loved the Asolo's "pulley" lacing system which is the best lacing system I have ever seen. That said when it came to comfort these Zamberlan's felt slightly more comfortable. I love the "3-Action Footbed" which is designed to respect the foot anatomy, reduce heel strike and follow the natural foot movement during walking which is designed to reduce muscle fatigue (from my use so far this system is the best I have ever had). This boot looks black to the eye although Zappos describes it as dark gray. I wanted a black boot so I am very happy with the color. Worth the money!

Worth the price!- I have had these shoes for about a month now. I have loved them from the first time I put them on. There was no break in period. They are very comfortable and give great support. Even though they are more expensive than some other hikers they are worth the price.

Cool!!!! - I love this boot. The black leather and stitching are so rich looking I almost do not want to get it dirty. This is the 'Bally' of outdoor boots.
